About
Hi, I’m Justina.
Justina Barsoum · Registered Psychotherapist, BJourn, MACP · she/her
I’m a psychotherapist registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, working with adults from many different backgrounds who are navigating anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, and the ordinary-but-heavy weight of change.
What matters most to me is the relationship we build. Therapy works best when it feels safe, honest, and a little curious, a space where you can bring the messy thoughts and the contradictions without worrying about saying the right thing.
I’m especially drawn to helping people recognise strengths they’ve stopped seeing in themselves, and to replacing harsh self-talk with something more compassionate. I tailor how we work to you, drawing on different approaches rather than fitting you into one.
Before becoming a therapist I trained in journalism, and I think that still shows: I’m genuinely interested in people’s stories and in listening for what sits between the lines.
