Talking back to self-doubt

A small, practical way to answer the inner critic without pretending it isn’t there.

Self-doubt rarely announces itself. It shows up as rereading a message five times before sending it, or as a quiet voice that says everyone else seems to know what they’re doing.

One small practice that helps: when you notice that voice, pause and ask how you would speak to a friend in the same spot. Not with forced positivity, just with the same fairness you’d offer anyone else.

It won’t silence the critic overnight. But over time, it gives you a second voice to listen to.
